Costa Ricans

Costa Ricans are overwhelmingly of European heritage. There is a tiny indigenous population, largely situated on a few reservations.

The language spoken is Spanish, and 90% of the population is Catholic. On the Caribbean coast, there is a large Jamaican/Costa Rican population. Those people still speak English as their native language; with the island lilt (most are completely bilingual.) People of all religions are welcomed. Costa Rica has small but active Protestant and Jewish communities too
